About the Administration

The Administration of Legal Affairs serves as the legal safeguard of the Libyan Biotechnology Research Center. It ensures that all operations, decisions, and activities conducted within the Center comply with applicable national laws, regulations, and internal policies. The administration provides legal guidance to all departments and branches, reviews and drafts official contracts and agreements, and ensures that institutional procedures are legally sound and transparent.

By maintaining legal compliance and upholding institutional integrity, the Administration of Legal Affairs contributes to building a governance framework based on accountability, professionalism, and the protection of the Center’s rights and interests at both national and international levels

Our Tasks

The Administration of Legal Affairs is entrusted with a set of essential responsibilities that support the Center’s strategic and operational functions, including:`

Providing legal advice and consultation to all administrations, offices, and branches to ensure compliance with applicable laws and institutional regulations.
Drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and memoranda of understanding with external partners to protect the Center’s legal interests.
Monitoring relevant national legislation and international regulations and ensuring their proper implementation within the Center.
Representing the Center before judicial authorities and legal bodies, and handling legal disputes when required.
Preparing legal reports and developing governance frameworks to support senior management decision-making and promote transparency and accountability.
