Dr Hassan is a researcher in Food Science at the Libyan Biotechnology Research Center. He obtained both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Food Science from the University of Tripoli (Department of Food Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Libya). He later earned his PhD in Food Science and Technology from Ain Shams University in Egypt. Currently, he serves as the Head of the Food Research Unit at the Libyan Biotechnology Research Center. His research interests focus on food chemistry and analysis, with particular emphasis on cereal technology and grain processing, genetically modified foods, and halal food.
