Associate Professor’s at Libyan Biocenology Research Centre (LBTRC), acting as Head of the
Scientific Department of Plant Tissue.
Prior to his current job at BTRC, Mr. Elmundr Abughnia He worked as a supervisor for the plant tissue laboratory, head of the project to propagate endangered plants in Libya, and director of the genetic engineering laboratory during the Corona pandemic Where the lab analyzed More Than million COVID-19 Test Using RT-PCR, DNA & RNA Extraction Teaching and Training members from Different Parts of Libya on Real-time-PCR for COVID-19 Diagnosis.
In addition to his current work, he has taught and supervised graduation projects in several Libyan universities, including University of Aljafara, Al-Mergib University, the University of Tripoli and Al Zaytouna University, And laboratory supervision of a doctoral student at yuzuncu yil University – Turkey

Currently working Micropropagation of potato, ornamental plants, barley, Libyan scarce native wild plants, with medicinal value and endangered, Micropropagation of trees and plants with medicinal and economic value, in vitro of ornamental plants, Micropropagation of potato tubers.
