About 30 years ago, Ms. Hafsa graduated from high school in the Oasis of Goodness (Ghadames) and pursued her studies in Chemistry at the University of Al-Zawiya. In 2007, She obtained her Master’s degree in Biochemistry from the Libyan Academy for Postgraduate Studies. Currently, she works as a researcher at the Libyan Center for Biotechnology Research in Tripoli, in the Department of Environment, Food, and Applied Biotechnology, holding the position of Associate Professor.

Through her work at the center, she gained extensive experience in scientific research, teaching, and quality management.

1. Experience in teaching research methodology and biochemistry courses.
2. Experience in scientific research, particularly in the causes of heart diseases, atherosclerosis, and diseases associated with vitamin D deficiency and its relation to cancer (specifically breast cancer).
3. Experience in quality management and in preparing standard specifications, especially in laboratory systems (ISO 17025).
