<strong data-start=\"352\" data-end=\"380\">Monday, November 3, 2025<\/strong>, a scientific workshop was held under the title:<br data-start=\"429\" data-end=\"432\" \/><strong data-start=\"432\" data-end=\"560\">\u201cOutcomes of Research Projects Funded by the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research in the Field of Engineering Sciences.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"564\" data-end=\"859\">The event was organized under the supervision of the <strong data-start=\"617\" data-end=\"673\">Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"682\" data-end=\"726\">Libyan Authority for Scientific Research<\/strong>, sponsored by the <strong data-start=\"745\" data-end=\"778\">Libyan Plasma Research Center<\/strong>, and hosted by the <strong data-start=\"798\" data-end=\"845\">Libyan Biotechnology Research Center (LBRC)<\/strong> in Tripoli.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"861\" data-end=\"1124\">The workshop opened with a welcoming speech by the <strong data-start=\"912\" data-end=\"980\">Director General of the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research<\/strong>, who emphasized the importance of <strong data-start=\"1015\" data-end=\"1046\">applied scientific research<\/strong> and the need to link its outcomes with <strong data-start=\"1086\" data-end=\"1121\">national development priorities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1126\" data-end=\"1313\">The workshop aimed to <strong data-start=\"1148\" data-end=\"1185\">evaluate funded research projects<\/strong> and discuss practical ways to <strong data-start=\"1216\" data-end=\"1239\">apply their results<\/strong> in support of <strong data-start=\"1254\" data-end=\"1281\">sustainable development<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"1290\" data-end=\"1310\">national economy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1315\" data-end=\"1646\">Presentations included studies on the <strong data-start=\"1353\" data-end=\"1402\">use of Libyan soil in construction industries<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1404\" data-end=\"1434\">smart control technologies<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1440\" data-end=\"1495\">material corrosion and its impact on infrastructure<\/strong>, in addition to projects in <strong data-start=\"1524\" data-end=\"1555\">applied biological sciences<\/strong>, such as <strong data-start=\"1565\" data-end=\"1612\">developing Arabic-based information systems<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1617\" data-end=\"1643\">road safety strategies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1648\" data-end=\"1829\">The workshop reflected the <strong data-start=\"1675\" data-end=\"1707\">applied academic orientation<\/strong> of Libyan research institutions and their commitment to <strong
