responsibility in scientific research, <strong data-start=\"379\" data-end=\"400\">Dr. Fawzi Ibrahim<\/strong>, Deputy Chair of the Bioethics Committee at the Libyan Biotechnology Research Centre, participated in a specialized workshop titled <strong data-start=\"533\" data-end=\"574\">\u201cBioethics: From Theory to Practice.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"576\" data-end=\"811\">The workshop was held on <strong data-start=\"601\" data-end=\"632\">Wednesday, October 29, 2025<\/strong>, in <strong data-start=\"637\" data-end=\"649\">Benghazi<\/strong>, organized by the <strong data-start=\"668\" data-end=\"718\">National Committee for Biosafety and Bioethics<\/strong>, in collaboration with ethics committees from Libyan universities and research institutions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"813\" data-end=\"1006\">This participation reflects the Centre\u2019s commitment to supporting ethical research governance and advancing scientific integrity in accordance with international standards and best practices.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1008\" data-end=\"1320\">The workshop addressed the <strong data-start=\"1035\" data-end=\"1122\">challenges of implementing ethical principles in academic and research institutions<\/strong>, emphasizing the importance of balancing <strong data-start=\"1164\" data-end=\"1213\">scientific freedom with social responsibility<\/strong>, and fostering a culture of <strong data-start=\"1242\" data-end=\"1289\">transparency, accountability, and integrity<\/strong> within the research community.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1322\" data-end=\"1592\">The session featured engaging scientific discussions that highlighted the need for <strong data-start=\"1405\" data-end=\"1471\">collaborative national efforts to strengthen ethical practices<\/strong>, contributing to enhancing the <strong data-start=\"1503\" data-end=\"1549\">credibility and quality of Libyan research<\/strong> at both regional and
